Featuring a solid wood interior sheathing that is given form by rigid foam insulated, curved stud walls. The Rigid Wall Roundhouse is designed and approved to pass your county's energy calculation requirements, structural loads and is WUI certified.

This is the perfect option for those looking to permit their new roundhouse as a Primary Dwelling, ADU or those just wanting maximum performance out of their new roundhouse.

Years of R&D in the making, this offering is designed with stick built home standards in mind, combined with the ease of set up of a yurt. An eave extending around the entirety of the roundhouse creates a space for fitted vents to be placed, providing maximum heating and cooling efficiency through movement of air.

The width of the LVL rafter spans creates the natural air gap between the exterior roof sheathing and rigid foam insulation panels, allowing air to move freely behind the structures exterior. This is just one of the features that will take your new roundhouse home to the next level.

Curved Insulated Stud Walls

The curved insulated stud walls provide an interior space that feels similar to common stick-built homes. More insulation means lower energy demands and greater comfort in hot and cold climates. Interior sheathing provides sheer strength and a beautiful finish. The Rigid Wall Roundhouse is designed to pass your county's energy calculation requirements, structural loads and is WUI certified.

LVL Rafters

The included 2x6 LVL rafters contribute to the overall strength for permitting, but they also create an air gap between the exterior roof sheathing and rigid foam insulation panels, creating a naturally ventilated exterior air space. This enhances the yurts energy efficiency and keeps you cozy.

FEATURE #3

Duro-Last® Roof

All Rigid Wall Roundhouses come standard with the premium, long lasting 40-Mil Duro-Last® roofing membrane for covering the exterior walls. This waterproof, fire & UV resistant, material comes with a 15 year manufacture warranty and typically has a 25-30 year lifespan. Furthermore, you may personalize your roof by choosing from several different colors.

Glass Double Pane Windows

Since the walls are built from solid stud framing, each Rigid Wall Roundhouse comes with at least two double pane glass windows. Yet again, this increases the Roundhouse's efficiency and allows for easy temperature control. Simply open the window for fresh air or to cool off during hot summer days.

Want a wall covering option with even greater durability? No problem. For an additional cost, you may choose the same Duro-Last® roofing membrane that is used for the roof to finish the exterior walls of your Roundhouse instead of the standard wall membrane. Duro-Last® even provides an additional insulative quality.
